Devizes Town Youth Football Club is an affiliated club (Wiltshire F.A. - 2008/2009 affiliation nos. Youth FYE00335, Minor FME00331) formed in 1987.

All the teams train at least once a week, and the club aims to provide the opportunity to develop skills and teamwork whilst having a bit of fun playing football.

The Devizes Town Youth FC Tournament 2009 was a fantastic success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. For once the weather was kind and we enjoyed a lovely sunny and warm weekend with games running mostly on time.

We had a wide range of teams from local areas such as Trowbridge and Chippenham and others from as far away as Wales and Wimborne.

The tournament got off to a great start on Friday night with the Under 7’s and 8’s festival of football which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Saturday saw the Under 10’s, 12’s and 14’s play with our own teams doing extremely well with Devizes Town white winning the Under 14’s and Devizes Town Red achieving runner up in the Under 12’s.

Sunday saw the Under 9’s, 11’s and 13’s play with Devizes Town Red winning the Under 11’s final.

We had lots of fantastic help and support from managers, the committee, players, referees and some parents and would like to say a huge thank you to all those who gave up their time to help no matter how small, without you it would not have been possible.
