Devizes Town Youth football club was formed in 1987 and is an F.A. affiliated club (Wiltshire F.A. 2007/2008 affiliation numbers Youth EYE00399, Minor EME00398).

We are located within Devizes Town Football Club’s ground at Nursteed Road and have training facilities both here and at Green Lane.

We have recently been awarded F.A.Charter Standard status which is key to raising the standards within the provision of football.

WHO DO WE CATER FOR?

We currently cater for age groups Under 7 through to Under 16 which includes two girl’s teams at Under 12 and Under 14 age groups.

The club has teams registered to play league matches in the Mid Wilts Youth and Minor League and the Wiltshire County Womens and Girls League.

Any child who fits within the age group during each season is welcome to join the club and should contact the manager for the required age group directly.

COACHING

The club takes coaching very seriously and the managers and coaches at the club have a minimum of the F.A. Junior Team Manager Coaching qualification and several are also qualified referees.
The managers, coaches and helpers are also vetted by the F.A. (with the Police and Social Services) to ensure suitability for working directly with children.

AIMS

Each team has regular training and matches (details of which can be viewed in the training and matches links) and aims to provide the opportunity to develop skills and teamwork whilst enjoying playing football.
